Ariza is a bit long in the tooth – he turns 34 on June 30 – but, again, Horst has mentioned surrounding Antetokounmpo with shooters, so we’re going to look at a few guys who can do just that. And Ariza is definitely in that group and might be someone available at a discount rate. Ariza has made 145+ 3-pointers in each of his last six seasons, much of that coming when he played for Houston from 2014-18. Ariza only made 33.4% of his 3s last year, but in his career he’s at 35.1%. At 6-foot-8, he’d give the Bucks another option for a tall, lengthy lineup, which Budenholzer used some down the stretch.
