NBA releases Bucks 2020-21 first-half schedule
The NBA released its first-half schedule for the 2020-21 season with the Milwaukee Bucks playing 37 games between Dec. 23-March 4.
The Bucks open the season in Boston on Wed., Dec. 23. Milwaukee plays Golden State two days later on Christmas – one of three holidays in which the Bucks will be in action.
Milwaukee will host Chicago on New Year’s Day and play at Brooklyn on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The defending champion Los Angeles Lakers will visit Milwaukee on Jan. 21 while the Bucks travel to Miami for back-to-back games with the Heat Dec. 29-30.
In all, the Bucks have six back-to-backs in the first half and will play 20 home games. Milwaukee has an eight-game homestand from Feb. 16-March 2. The team’s longest road trip in the first half is six games, Feb. 5-14.
NBA teams will play a 72-game schedule in the 2020-21 season. A six-day All-Star break is slated for March 5-10. After a play-in Tournament to be held May 18-21, the 2021 NBA playoffs are scheduled to begin May 22 with a latest possible end date of July 22.
The NBA’s structure for the 2020-21 schedule will have the Bucks play Central Division opponents Detroit and Indiana twice at home and once on the road, and Chicago and Cleveland twice on the road and once at home. Teams in the Central Division will also play each team in the Atlantic Division twice at home and once on the road and each Southeast Division team once at home and twice on the road. The Bucks will also have one home and one road game against each Western Conference team.
