NDLEA Arrests 90-Year-Old Man Reportedly Dealing In Indian Hemp
The Ondo State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a 90-year-old man, James Salihu for dealing in cannabis sativa popularly known as Indian hemp.
The man was arrested on Wednesday by NDLEA detectives in Supare Akoko a town in Akoko South West Local Government Area of the state.
Confirming the incident, the State Commander of the NDLEA, Mr. Haruna Gagara noted that Salihu has been known to be notorious in the community.

He said officers of the Command on a tip-off stormed his house where a 12-year-old boy was staying with him and discovered the drugs.
Gagara noted that the suspect was arrested and later granted administrative bail due to his poor health condition and warned him to desist from such an evil act.
The NDLEA boss disclosed that investigation is still ongoing to unravel more facts on the matter, adding that the suspect would face prosecution as soon as he is confirmed medically fit.
