Neil Walker hit a two-run home run for Miami. Brian Anderson went 2 for 2 with two RBIs and a run scored. Rotation hopeful Pablo Lopez started, pitching six scoreless innings and allowed two hits, lowering his ERA to 0.90.
St. Louis had just three hits – two singles by Drew Robinson and one from Dexter Fowler.
