Job Objectives

The Network Security Specialist is responsible for managing security solution architecture and related functions. Acts as a technical resource that drives technical direction within a discipline; designs, documents and/or implements IT Security solutions. Participates and provides technical expertise on Projects.

Job Responsibilities

The Network Security Specialist is responsible for implementation and management of security solutions, and related functions.
Acts as a technical resource that drives technical direction within a discipline; designs, documents and/or implements IT Security solutions. Participates and provides technical expertise on Projects with essential duty and Responsibility as Security Specialist.
Responsible for security architecture implementation, current state, future state and documentation.
Participate in development of secure Low Level Design Architecture, development, maintenance, and expert advice related to Customers security for corporate and subsidiary sites as required for payment industry (including but not limited to) cloud, encryption, malware and forensics, web applications, mobile, intrusion detection prevention, web services & SOA, virtualization, emerging technologies (mobile payments, big data)
Collaborate with other SA business arms to include information security architecture requirements in all solution developments.
Provides guidance and requirements to build and assure application security in the software development process. Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking, and WAN topology Data Center Security/Cloud security.
Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors etc. to provide technical assistance and support
Any other duties as assigned by Head of Infrastructure.
