NHL odds: How to bet conference finals, lines, pick
The Tampa Bay Lightning are two series wins away from capturing the Stanley Cup for the third consecutive season (the Bolts won their first title in 2004).
But there are three other NHL teams — the Colorado Avalanche, Edmonton Oilers and New York Rangers — who want to be the ones to hoist sport’s most cherished prize, the Stanley Cup.

The final four have all hoisted the Cup before. The Oilers have won it all five times (1984, ‘85, ’87, ‘88, ’90), the Rangers four times (1928, ‘33, ’40 and ’94) and the Avs — previously the Quebec Nordiques — twice (1996, 2001).
Here are the latest odds to win the Stanley Cup:
Avalanche -200 (bet $10 to win $15 total)
Rangers +300 (bet $10 to win $40 total)
Lightning +650 (bet $10 to win $75 total)
Oilers +5000 (bet $10 to win $510 total)
FOX Bet associate trader Steven Hemke predicted the Rangers would upset the Metropolitan Division champion Carolina Hurricanes in seven games in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
That’s exactly what happened.
But the Rangers go up against the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Lightning in the conference finals.
“Both teams are very similar with the likely Vezina winner Igor Shesterkin taking on his idol and fellow countryman former Conn Smythe winner Andrei Vasilevskiy,” Hemke said. “They both sport top offensive talent in Chris Kreider, Mika Zibanejad and top D-Man, Adam Fox of the Rangers against Steven Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov and their top blueliner, Victor Hedman.
“This is the new kids on the block taking on the old vets in what should be a six- or seven-game series.”
