No. 12 Badgers shut out ASU 4-0
The No. 12 Wisconsin Badgers improved to 7-6 with a 4-0 win over the Arizona State Sun Devils on Sunday.
Wisconsin raced to a 3-0 lead in the first period. Jack Gorniak fired in the Badgers’ first goal with 17:23 to go in the period, then Josh Ess made a nifty move with the puck and deposited it into the net with 12:58 left in the frame.

With 3:39 to go in the period, Ty Pelton-Byce deflected a shot into the net for Wisconsin’s third goal.
Defenseman Tyler Inamoto sniped in a long-range shot with 2:58 remaining in the second period for his first score of the season.

The Badgers will play Arizona State again on Sunday at La Bahn Arena. The game starts at 6:30 p.m. and will be televised on FOX Sports Wisconsin.
