No. 2 Gophers give up three goals in third period, fall to Wisconsin 4-1
The No. 2-ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers fell to 15-4 after a 4-1 loss to the Wisconsin Badgers 3M Arena at Mariucci.
Wisconsin took a 1-0 lead in the first period, but the Gophers struck back in the second with a goal from Sammy Walker with 11:59 left in the period.

The Badgers countered back by scoring three goals in the final 20 minutes.
Minnesota hosts Wisconsin at 7 p.m. on Saturday for the second game of the series. The game will be televised on FOX Sports North.
