Operations Manager (Hotel)
Our client is a fast growing company with short-stay apartments and cafe outlets. They currently have an opening for an Operations Manager.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensuring maximum occupancy in the rooms by supporting the development and execution on marketing efforts
- Ensuring rooms are maintained to pre set high standards
- Managing room cleaners and ensuring rooms are cleaned thoroughly each time
- Ensuring maximum guest satisfaction
- Managing all the online booking and distribution channels – responding to enquiries, closing lead, managing the central calender to minimise over bookings etc
- Staying abreast of competition and developments in the marketplace and reporting to management
- Using the management systems to run the business.
- Preparing reports for management
- Developing the brand and the business beyond simply offering rooms, and finding ways to create additional value for guests
- Discovering and proposing partnerships which will be beneficial to the business and our guests
Requirements
- B.Sc /HND/OND in Business Administration or relevant field.
- Must have atleast 2-3 years experience in hotel management or with similar role.
- Must have great leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent management , negotiation and planning skills
- Must have great ability for attention to details
- Must have the ability to drive business profitability
