Pacers’ Bitadze out indefinitely with ankle injury
Goga Bitadze made his preseason debut Friday in the Indiana Pacers‘ final exhibition game, but it’ll be some time before he’s back on the court again.
Bitadze will be out indefinitely with a Grade 2 right ankle sprain. The second-year center/forward will be reevaluated in two weeks.
The ankle sprain held Bitadze, the Pacers’ first-round draft pick in 2019, out of Indiana’s first two preseason games. He played 21 minutes in Friday’s loss to Philadelphia, tallying five points, five rebounds and four assists.
