“Our organization has entered the NFL’s intensive protocol and the player has self-quarantined,” the team said in a statement. “We will continue to work with the league on contact tracing as we follow the guidelines of intensive protocol.”
Green Bay will hold all meetings virtually on Monday.
Dillon played 10 offensive snaps during the Packers’ 28-22 loss to Minnesota on Sunday. He rushed five times for 21 yards and caught one pass for 16 yards.
Entering a short week with a matchup against San Francisco looming on Thursday, Green Bay will deal with uncertainty in its backfield. Starting running back Aaron Jones has missed the past two games with a calf injury, and one can presume Dillon will be out Thursday night on the COVID-19 reserve list. That leaves Jamaal Williams, who has rushed for 152 yards on 35 carries over the last two weeks as the fill-in starter.
