Pirates score pair of runs in the eighth to defeat Detroit, 4-2
The Pittsburgh Pirates pushed past the Detroit Tigers on Thursday afternoon after being tied up 2-2 until late in the eighth inning. Colin Moran and Erik Gonzalez each contributed RBI singles with two outs to bring the Pirates to a 4-2 victory.
