The Police in Benue state have arrested two armed herdsmen, Usman Saleh, and Ibrahim Alhaji, both resident in Awe local government area of Nassarawa state, during a stop and search operation, where they attempted to escape after operatives discovered rounds of live ammunition AK rifles in their possession.

Parading the suspects along with 25 others arrested in connection with kidnapping and robbery by men of the operation Zenda, the commissioner of police, Mr. Mohammed Mukadass, listed exhibits, weapons, ammunition and other items recovered from the suspects.
