Job Title: Printer Operator

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for printing all job images and photobooks designs.
Responsible for proper management and maintenance of the chemical printer.
Download jobs (photo books & images for enlargements) from branches nationwide via google drive.
Upload photobook designs to Kodak Express for printing.
Responsible for sending daily reports of finished jobs for proper accountability.
Responsible for mixing paint and inks to blend with materials being printed and job order specification.
Responsible for correction of printing errors on materials.
Evaluate job orders and specification to know details like number of materials to be printed, time given for collection and colour sequences.
Responsible for checking printed materials for clarity, accuracy, quality, finishing and other production factors.
Minimize period by troubleshooting stoppages and breakdowns.
Operate machine to give printing directions in accordance to job order and specification.
Ensure that colour heads, rollers and ink fountains are cleaned after production.
Assign labels and stamp to boxes containing printed materials.
Ensure that production plates and ink containers are cleaned after production.
Responsible for creating space in the printing room by removing excess boxes out of the way.
Ensure that printing equipment is well lubricated by applying appropriate oil.
Make suggestions in the design and layout of jobs to be printed.
Any other function as may be assigned by your line manager and Management.
