Job Description
- Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
- Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
- Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
- Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
- Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
- Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
- Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
- Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
- Assist in creating project databases and entering information on new projects costs and completed projects costs
- Following up on all projects, ensuring that all costs have been applied appropriately
- Assist in ordering of parts and materials in collaboration with project managers
- Reviewing contracts and conditions for on-site contract staff in collaboration with the office manager and site coordinator
- Liaising with the Operations Manager to review project schedules, determine priorities in conjunction with the project managers, investigate and analyse schedule impacts and recommending actions to be taken to mitigate/avoid schedule conflicts and delays.
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors, vendors, project managers, on-site staff and Company management
