Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description
The incumbent will work in an exciting organization with opportunities to initiate and execute innovative ideas while having direct responsibilities as follows;

  • Engage community members on expanding access to qualitative and affordable primary healthcare system
  • Coordinate the delivery of primary and community healthcare centers
  • Facilitate training programs for community orthodox and complementary/traditional healthcare providers
  • Coordinate awareness and health improvement programs for different groups in the community
  • Prepare health project proposals, budgets, narrative and financial reports on regular basis
  • Prepare funding and grant proposals, and maintain a successful follow up with funding institutions
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders including government agencies, professional associations, funding and development partners on project implementation.
  • Supporting informal healthcare practitioners in operational ethical improvement and standard setting.
  • Collate, analyze, store and disseminate healthcare data with a view to informing policy change on improving primary healthcare system in underserved communities in Nigeria.

Requirements
The incumbent will have the following characteristics;

  • A degree in Public Health or Community Health. Advanced degree is preferable
  • 4 – 6 years’ experience in managing public health or community health
  • Membership of relevant healthcare professional associations is an added advantage
  • Good knowledge in health program management
  • Ability to independently formulate plans and proposals and able to implement same
  • Ability to work in a team and bring new innovations to programs and projects
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, healthcare graphics and other healthcare management software applications for analysis, reporting and presentations
