We are recruiting to fill the position of below:

Job Title: Public Relations Associate

Location: Lagos (on-site)
Job Type: Full-time
Reports to: Head, Marketing & Customer Service

Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Public Relations associate to join our creative team.
• Your main goal will be assisting the brand to gain publicity; you will be responsible for developing and executing influencer campaigns to reach the desired target audience.
• The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a network to leverage for PR purposes, a versatile creative writer, and a team player.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyse data to know Taeillo’s customers/audience, it’s reach and conversion.
• Develop PR campaigns and media relations strategies
• Seek opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising
• Organize PR events and serve as the company’s spokesperson on some of those events
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. marketing) and maintain open communication with senior management
• Collaborate with influencers to promote the Taeillo brand
• Edit and update promotional material and publications (brochures, videos, social media posts etc.)
• Prepare and distribute press releases
• Track media coverage and follow industry trends
• Address inquiries from the media and other parties
• Prepare and submit PR reports
• Manage crisis and other related PR issues
• Performing other duties when needed.

Job Requirements

• B.Sc / B.A in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related field
• Proven experience as a Public Relations Officer or similar PR role
• Experience managing media relations (online, broadcast and print)
• Background in researching, writing and editing publications

Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office and social media
• Familiarity with project management software and video/photo editing is a plus
• Strong communication ability (oral and written)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Creativity and problem-solving aptitude
