Job Title: QHSE Officer
Location: Rivers
Job Description
- This role supports the QHSE Advisor in the development and implementation of Company QHSE policies and procedures in the office and on the Vessels.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitors compliance with all the provisions of the company SMS and other applicable Health, Safety and Environment Legislation
- Carry out risk assessments on Company’s Operations
- Records and updates Company Man-hour Statistics
- Provide relevant information on Health, Safety and Environmental Policies to employees.
- Collates Vessel Client Safety Reporting requirement.
- Carry out safety induction and briefing for office visitors.
- Assist in ensuring that the QMS conforms to the requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2015.
- Assist in preparation and review of all safety documentation.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate must:
- Have a 1st degree in Industrial Health and Safety or similar discipline
- Possess a minimum of 3 years experience as a QHSE officer.
- Have completed QHSE level 3
- Experience in a Marine Logistics/Oil and Gas company is a strong advantage for this role.
