Rain forces postponement of Saturday’s Royals-White Sox game

Inclement weather in Chicago will prevent the Royals and White Sox from playing the middle game of their scheduled three-game series Saturday.
The teams announced Saturday morning that the game has been postponed. It will be made up May 14, when the teams already were scheduled to play at 7:10 p.m. They now will play a split doubleheader, with the rescheduled game set for 1:10 p.m.
The series finale remains scheduled for 1:10 p.m. Sunday.
