Royals-Reds game Tuesday postponed; teams will play a pair Wednesday
The Kansas City Royals–Cincinnati Reds game Tuesday night was postponed and rescheduled as part of a doubleheader Wednesday.
A Reds player tested positive for COVID-19 last week and the Cincinnati games Saturday and Sunday against Pittsburgh were postponed. The Reds were off Monday and are taking Tuesday to conduct additional testing before planning to resume play Wednesday, Major League Baseball announced.
FOX Sports Kansas City will televise both Game 1 of the doubleheader, which starts at 4:05 p.m., and Game 2, which will begin 30-40 minutes after Game 1 ends. Both will be seven-inning games.
