First World Communities Limited (FWC) is a private limited liability development company providing affordable housing for medium to low income earners across Nigeria and eventually Africa. The Company was incorporated in 2008 by promoters of the highly successful Co-operative Villas, Badore, Lagos – a community of over 600 homes considered to be one of the best of its kind in West Africa.
Up until when First World Communities Limited (FWC) was formed in response to addressing the housing need in Nigeria, its promoters had been responsible for over 5000 homes across Nigeria and overseas through various organisations. These include the much acclaimed and widely replicated Post-Service Housing Scheme for the Nigerian Army and housing associations in the United Kingdom. The business prides itself in it’s massive land bank, partnering with the Lagos State Government to addredd the housing deficits through the CHOIS scheme.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Sales and Letting Manager
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Objective
- Ensure delivery of business revenue objectives by taking ownership of sales and letting activities from strategy formulation to development and implementation.
- In addition, s/he is responsible for coaching and training team members to equip them with requisite skills and competencies to deliver and exceed targets, driving compliance to internal processes across the sales value chain to ensure pleasant customer experience.
Business Development & Strategy:
- Design and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue objectives by collaborating with relevant departments to develop sustainable partnerships with stakeholders
- Prospect for new business and leverage opportunities (and Joint Venture initiatives) to grow sales revenues
- Maintain extensive knowledge of real estate trends and other factors to ensure client expectations are met eg. timelines for title deeds etc
- Work with relevant team members to develop product and service promotions, advertorials and publicity advising on impact, cost and effective implementation
People Management:
- Provide relevant coaching and support to all team members to exceed expectations.
- Review weekly report of team members, providing necessary feedback in terms of prospecting, leads pipeline and sales closure.
- Approve and sign off offer documents for team members prior to sharing with clients. Ensure all terms are in line with corporate guidelines, protecting the business from risks of any sort.
Job Requirements
- First Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related fields.
- Minimum of 10 years sales/ business development experience in the Real Estate sector, with up to 5 years leading teams
- Superior supervisory and people management abilities.
- Good written, oral and presentation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management.
- High organizational skills, drive and attention to details.
- Innovative, responsive and result-oriented.
- Excellent negotiation, critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
Salary
N500,000 – N600,000 monthly
