Job Title: Sales Manager (Automobile)

Job Summary

  • The Sales Manager will be responsible for Identifying target accounts for the business, supervising and motivating his/sales team while developing strategies, managing budget and promotions to meeting sales objectives and goals of the organization through effective planning and organizing.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while beingfully aware of new products and competition status
  • Possess deep knowledge of business product offering and value proposition
  • Follow organisational policies and regulations that affect the Sales department
  • Proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities
  • Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
  • Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
  • Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.
  • The ongoing training of your salespeople.
  • Developing sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
  • Promoting the organization and products.

Requirements

  • BSc in Business Administration or in a related field with MSc as and added advantage
  • 10+ years core experience as a Sales Representative or Sales Manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets in Automobile, Consumer equipment.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
  • Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High-level proficiency with MS Office programs.
  • Capacity to work independently.
  • Functional Skills Negotiation Skills with handling regional level marketing profiles,
  • Behavioral Skills and a strong team Player.
  • Business development skills.

Salary
N250,000 – N350,000 monthly + other benefits.
