Sano returns, Twins place Garver on 10-day IL
The bad news: Mitch Garver is headed to the 10-day injured list with a high ankle sprain.
The good news: Miguel Sano is back.

The Minnesota Twins made the move Wednesday after Garver was injured tagging Shohei Ohtani at the plate during a win over the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday night.
Sano, who missed the first 41 games of the season, returned from his rehab assignment and was immediately reinstated from the 10-day injured list.
Sano began baseball activities back in early April after injuring his foot in January while celebrating his team’s Dominican Winter League championship.
He hit just .199/.281/.398 with 13 home runs in 71 games for the Twins last season while also spending time with Single-A Fort Myers and Triple-A Rochester.
Sano hit .316 with nine RBI, four doubles, three walks and two home runs during his rehab assignment, which included stints in Single-A, Double-A and Triple-A,
Garver appears to be in the early stages of a breakout season, and is hitting .329/.418/.747 with nine home runs in just 79 at-bats while splitting time at catcher with Willians Astudillo and Jason Castro.
