Scrimmage report: Giannis scores 30 in Bucks’ 124-103 loss to Pelicans

Giannis Antetokounmpo stuffed his box score, but the Milwaukee Bucks fell 124-103 to the New Orleans Pelicans in their third and final scrimmage from the NBA bubble Monday night.

In just 23 minutes, Antetokounmpo poured in 30 points on 8-of-15 shooting (12 of 15 from the free-throw line) and added eight rebounds and three assists.

The Greek Freak also nailed 2 of 3 attempts from downtown.

Although Khris Middleton went 0 for 4 from 3-point range, he finished with 16 points. Brook Lopez (10) and Ersan Ilyasova (12) were the other two Bucks

Pat Connaughton, who tested positive for the coronavirus two weeks ago and has since rejoined the team, did not play.

Milwaukee returns to the floor Friday night for a regular-season matchup against the Boston Celtics.
