Our e-commerce website has been making UK products available to Nigerians for over a year and most recently, it has been structured as a marketplace to accommodate local vendors within Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Seller Acquisition Associate

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Details

  • In this exciting new role, you will be responsible for outreaching and activating future superstar ShopsFit sellers and championing their experience whilst using the platform
  • We want you to make ShopsFit an inspiring destination for high potential sellers that are at the forefront of their game

Job Responsibilities Includes:

  • Responsible for generating and acquiring high-value sellers to join and start selling on ShopsFit
  • Recognise trends and find the sellers at the forefront of them
  • Ideate, execute and track new initiatives and avenues to acquire new sellers for ShopsFit
  • Provide basic training and support for new sellers
  • Managing the relationship by acting as point of contact for new sellers; covering areas such as on-boarding, support, promotion, reactivation and offering exclusive perks
  • Regularly checking in on our Pipeline, updating the status and activity of the seller
  • Consistently meet target KPIs, generate and analyze data, create presentations and updates
  • Provide market insights from seller’s’ perspective, including understanding products, sellers, market & competitor dynamics
  • Monitor and help to improve seller performance on product quality, ready to ship lead time and stock management

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree / HND / OND qualification.
  • At least 1-year experience working in a sales position or cold calling
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Selling or Influencing Others
  • Highly adaptable and able to pick up new and cross-functional processes
  • Highly organized with strong attention to details
  • Creative and unafraid to present new ideas
  • Above average IT skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Must be able to demonstrate the affinity, drive, passion and tenacity for sales.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), CRM software
  • Be proactive and independent; require little supervision.
