We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior IT Specialist

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Keep computer systems running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them
Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
Talk staff through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
Replace parts as required
Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
Support the roll-out of new applications
Set up new users’ accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time
Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers
Test and evaluate new technology
Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.

Requirements

B.Sc Degree equivalent or higher in related fields from a reputable university.
Minimum five years of relevant IT experience or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience with cloud technologies and the Microsoft collaboration stack, such as Office 365 international version, Sharepoint online, Exchange online, document management and taxonomies, Teams, Groups, Power BI, Azure AD, DirSync, etc.
Experience in: Defining the information architecture for intranets, internet and extranet sites; creating and developing site architectures using concept maps, site maps, taxonomy schemas and personas; creating metadata architecture including site columns, content types and content type hierarchies; and designing wireframes and site mockups.
Deep understanding of information architecture, taxonomy, content types and their respective applicability to sites, site collections and SharePoint solutions.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while paying strict attention to detail; ability to anticipate customer needs and match them with appropriate products and services; and advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to correctly determine proper course of action needed for safe and efficient resolution to any customer issue.
Skills in managing Office 365 using PowerShell, experience as an Office 365 administrator or knowledge of single sign-on for enterprise applications, ADFS or Intune would be an advantage.
Knowledgeable in basic DNS and networking concepts.
Substantial skills in project management, business analysis, vendor management, communication, etc. Experience in providing leadership and a demonstrated effectiveness in consulting and client management would be an advantage.
Fluency in oral and written English is a must.
