We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Product Program Manager

Location: Remote

About the Role

  • Work in line with the company’s annual and quarterly planning processes for Product and Engineering, establishing OKRs as they align with company strategic drivers
  • Lead programs and projects within the organization; understanding current status at any given point in time, facilitating decision making and critical issues, and looking ahead to confirm staffing and budget
  • Own status reporting, governance, proactive risk identification and risk mitigation
  • Drive processes and documentation and delivery the organization, adhering to company-wide templates and methods and using existing tools
  • Serve as a subject matter authority for given teams, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of all presentations and communications
  • Support team members, senior leaders, and the Chief Product Technology Officer (CPTO) regarding interpersonal climate, project updates, proposals, planning, and reporting
  • Drive the program portfolio and ensure seamless interaction with other teams across the company
  • Provide support and mentorship (when applicable) to the CPTO and senior leaders on in-flight activities or upcoming initiatives, helping drive strategic direction with the most impact on the organization
  • Ensure the teams are adhering to corporate processes, documentation, templates, and reporting requirements
  • Partner with the M&A team on any potential M&A activities and act as the integration lead for the organization
  • Become a change management champion and ensure positive reception to, and adoption of, Andela-wide changes
  • Help drive common and repeatable approaches that make it simpler for the teams and leaders, allowing them to focus on big picture problems
  • Drive a unified culture, encouraging joint ownership of the business and technical requirements for a robust and innovative product

Requirements:
As the ideal candidate for this role you:

  • Have a proven track record working in software development, technology consulting, or software product management company in a leadership role
  • Program management experience across a large portfolio, demonstrating growth and scale
  • Experience working in marketplaces is nice to have
  • Have experience efficiently working remotely
  • Have a strong analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Are passionate about the evolving technology landscape and enjoy bring to bear advancements to address business problems
  • Have outstanding communication (English, verbal, and written)
  • People that have been successful in similar roles at Andela display energy, drive, and passion to succeed.
  • Have the ability to build rapport and connect with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills
