Willers Solutions Limited – Our client, a reputable firm in the Technology industry, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Location: Mainland, Lagos

Responsibilities

Develop functional applications.
Investigation and fixing reported client complain.
Lead development team to deliver on a project.
Enforcing all application design and programming standards.
Personifies the company’s policies, procedures and values in accomplishing all related assigned tasks.
Maintains appropriate confidentiality in all aspects of work.
Ensures appropriate software development documentations.
Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications
Ensures that all team members submit codes that fully meet specifications
Fixing and improving existing software
Leads a team of developers to deliver functional applications
Ensures timely delivery of applications
Report progresses and challenges to Unit Manager.
Any other assigned duties from time to time.

Requirements

B.Sc in Computer Science or relevant discipline. At least 1 Microsoft professional qualification(s) in the required field.
2 – 4 years work experience
Very good knowledge on Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Bootstrap, jQuery, UI, AngularJS, WCF and ASMX Services, Windows Services
Experience with database design and development using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
Able to write SQL scripting, stored procedures, triggers, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Reporting Services (SSRS).
Knowledge of current and expected changes in business that will impact on her/his preferred area of specialization.
Relevant experience in Software Development and have skills in the use of Microsoft Visual Studio
General knowledge of Cloud platforms, e.g., Azure or Amazon Web Services, including their structure, use and capabilities.

Skills:

Ability to analyze customer requirements and define these as a formal specification for software development
Must possess Influencing skills, evidencing ability to gain agreement or acceptance through influence, persuasion or negotiation
Must have at least five years software troubleshooting experience
Must be experienced with Test Driven Design Pattern
Must be experienced with Git, GitHub and TFS
Must have OOP and MVC design skills
Ability to learn new languages and technologies
Ability to convey findings, ideas and opinions in a convincing manner in all written material (spoken and written).
Organizationally savvy
Must command executive presence
Leadtime – How long it takes to go from idea to QA.
Cycle Time – How long it takes to make changes to an application.
Open/Close Rate – How many issues are reported and closed within specific time
Bug(s) Introduced – How many bugs are introduced during issue resolution
Rework Cycle-The number of reworks on reported issues/bugs/errors by the team
Coding standard compliance.
Team Velocity – How many units of software the team completes in an iteration.
