Seyi Makinde’s N48bn Assets Declaration Causes Twitter Storm
Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde’s N48billion public assets declaration on Tuesday caused a twitter storm.
Many social media users applauded the action of the governor describing his action as a bold move which deserves applaud.

Few others queried the huge sum publicity declared and expressed worry on the nature of the governor’s business.
Makinde had earlier publicly declared his asset in excess of N48 billion in both cash and other properties.
He said he intends to fulfill all his campaign promises to the people of the state as he made public a copy of his declared assets.

I hope the verification and declaration of sources of the Seyi Makinde’s 48 billion assets would be established.
His tax liability on profits made in businesses that shot his assets to that level should also be confirmed.
