Job Title: Software Architect

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to make intuitive high-level decisions for software development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal software architecture and providing a framework for the development of a software or system that will result in high quality IT solutions.
You will see the “big picture” and create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team. You should already be experienced in designing software architecture and possess the ability to develop a unified vision for software characteristics and functions.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with product team to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new features and packages
Create high-level product specifications and design documents
Provide the development team with architectural blueprints to follow
Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product
Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team
Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design
Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with coding or design
Ensure that you and the team adhere to development schedules and deadlines
Present regular progress reports and setting goals
Test the final product to ensure it is completely functional and meets requirements

Job Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years
Proven experience as software architect
Experience in software development and coding in python/django
Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
Excellent knowledge of UML and other modeling methods
Understanding of software quality assurance principles
Broad and extensive knowledge of the software development process and its technologies
Knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns
Data modeling and database design experience
Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
Experience with service oriented architecture (SOA)
A technical mindset with great attention to detail.
High quality organizational and leadership skills.
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
