Job Title: Systems & Infrastructure Assistant Manager
Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Reporting to: Network and Infrastructure Head, NSSA
Department: IT
Job Purpose
- Looking after Oracle Database and Windows / Linux systems within Nigeria Environment.
Job Accountabilities
- Administers, maintains, develops, and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database
- Develop Oracle SQL and Unix Shell Scripts to Automate Functions and Processes
- Establish and implement best practices for maintenance, monitoring, growth management, and contention resolution
- Utilize Oracle Data Guard and Export/Import Data pump applications and Oracle Real Application Clusters
- Establish Best Practices for maintenance, monitoring, growth management, contention resolution, and defragging
- Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes
- Resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues
- Install and maintain payment applications and secure its operation
- Helping with tuning / maintenance of RAC and other types of databases
- Assist with patch application
- Administers and maintain Linux platform
- Own administrative responsibilities for Citrix virtualization infrastructure, Red Hat Linux and Windows operating systems, Windows Active Directory Forests, Automated backup facilities, Automated monitoring facilities and Configuration management
- Support internal and external users’ needs
- Configure, manage and monitoring Storage devices (EMC Vendor)
- Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
- Ability to analyze comprehensive business processes, perform in-depth work analyses, and develop computer-generated flow charts.
- Performs other related duties as required.

Experience / Skills Required
Minimum Education level accepted:
- University graduate, from an accredited and recognized University
Minimum Years and type of Experience accepted:
- 4 – 6 years experience in related functions, within multinational Companies.
Additional skills:
- Suitable Level of English language [min intermediate level- British council].
- Advance level/skills in handling Microsoft windows excel, word, power point, etc.
- Good level of Time management, Customer service, and communication skills.
