Job Title: Technical Assistant

Job Summary

  • The Technical Assistant (TA) will be responsible for supporting the Business Director in developing and implementing work task systems to improve the flow of information and thus the efficiency of the business unit in a timely and effective manner.
  • The TA also executes technical and administrative tasks and ensures completeness and accuracy to support the delivery of work and projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Generating and collating report for Workforce learning; notifying of sudden or declining performances as well as a positive spike for immediate actions;
  • Follows up and collaborates with team members, unit heads and managers to keep advised of the status of correspondence, agenda items and other related matters delegated for action or response.
  • Prepare a variety of drafts and finished documents, which may include Technical reports, Research notes.
  • Presentations, Proposals, Departmental Reports, Service Level Agreements, Quotations, Invoices, Minutes of Meetings and other reports.
  • Reviews and/or edits documents for completeness, accuracy, format, compliance with policies and procedures, and appropriate English usage
  • Relieves Business Director of certain administrative matters by transmitting information and staying informed of pertinent activities and performing general administrative functions.
  • Giving regular quality reports, research and analysis for business growth and development, regular quality advisory services to ensure business growth and upward positioning of the business.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Track and report on the execution of projects and strategic plans for the company.
  • Support the Business Director in focusing time on high value-add activities for the growth and benefit of the organization.
  • Communicate and follow up on action points from Business meetings targeted at improving business standards.
  • Assist in planning, managing, coordinating and execute specific projects as assigned by Business Director.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2 – 5 years work experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Report writing skills

  • Business acumen & Commercial awareness
  • Proficient in MS Office, with working knowledge of CRM.
  • Digital skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
