Alibert Product Nigeria Limited was created in 1974 as a small factory and family-owned business. The first retail showroom was opened in 1986 in Ikoyi; a second retail shop in Apapa in 1990. The first retail shop outside Lagos (Abuja) was opened in 2003. In 2010, Alibert became the first furniture company in Nigeria to export its furniture + opening of new showroom outside of Nigeria (Ghana). Today, we have a network of 5 showrooms and 3 franchise showrooms.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Tractor Driver

Location: Idu, Abuja

Job Summary

• The tractor driver should have good concentration skills and excellent hand-eye coordination, detail-oriented and demonstrate strength as well as active listening skills.
• He will be responsible for driving the tractor.

Responsibilities

• Driving and carrying out regular maintenance and repairs of tractors
• Operating tractors safely and efficiently.
• Performing inspections of tractors and attachments like graders, rollers, and plows, and ensuring they are well-lubricated.
• Using tractors to transport materials and waste
• Reporting any faults or concerns to the Maintenance Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
• Remaining alert while driving and servicing the tractor, and maintaining the appropriate speed limit at all times.
• Completing minor repairs on tractor and farm equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years proven experience
• A completed Apprenticeship or experience in a similar role.
• The ability to identify and react appropriately to hazards.
• Extensive knowledge of heavy equipment.
• Experience performing maintenance on tractors.
