Twins bring Arraez off injured list, recall Smeltzer
With two games remaining in the regular season, the Minnesota Twins welcomed back their second baseman on Saturday.

Luis Arraez, who missed 14 games with left knee tendinitis, was activated off the injured list by the Twins, who also recalled pitcher Devin Smeltzer.
To make room on the roster, pitcher Edwar Colina and outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. were optioned to the team’s alternate training site.
Arraez has appeared in 30 games for the Twins this season and is batting .288 with a .336 on-base percentage. He batted .334 and had more walks than strikeouts in 92 games as a rookie in 2019.
Arraez is back in the lineup, batting second for the Minnesota on Saturday.
Smeltzer has appeared in seven games for the Twins this season, going 2-0 with a 6.75 ERA and five walks and 15 strikeouts in 16 innings.
Colina made his major-league debut Friday night, allowing three runs in 1/3 inning. Wade has played in 16 games in 2020, hitting .231.
The Twins play Cincinnati on Saturday at 6 p.m., with Twins Live on FOX Sports North beginning at 5:30 p.m. Minnesota can clinch the AL Central with a win and White Sox loss.
