Twins place Zack Littell on 10-day IL, recall Jorge Alcala
The Minnesota Twins placed right-hander Zack Littell on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain and recalled right-hander Jorge Alcala, the team announced Saturday.

The roster move is retroactive to July 31.
Littell made two appearances in Minnesota’s first seven games and allowed four runs on six hits in three innings with three walks and one strikeout.
Alcala, who pitched in two games for the Twins in 2019, logged a 6-7 record and 5.47 ERA with 116 strikeouts and 39 walks in 16 starts for Double-A Pensacola and Triple-A Rochester last season.
