Twins recall RHP Stewart, Romero from Triple-A
The Minnesota Twins are recalling right-handed pitchers Kohl Stewart and Fernando Romero from Triple-A Rochester ahead of a game against the Houston Astros on Wednesday night.
Stewart is scheduled to start against the Astros.

Stewart made his Twins debut last season, making eight appearances (four starts), and has allowed eight earned runs and six walks with 15 strikeouts in 12 innings for the Red Wings this season.
Romero last pitched for the Twins on Saturday in the second game of a doubleheader against the Baltimore Orioles, allowing three earned runs in two innings.
He’s made four appearances for the Red Wings this season, allowing four earned runs and two walks with 11 strikeouts in 8 1/3 innings.
The Twins optioned fellow right-hander Tyler Duffey and outfielder Jake Cave to Triple-A to make room for Stewart and Romero on the 25-man roster.
Duffey has allowed one earned run in four games for the Twins this season, while Cave is hitting .233 with four walks, three RBI and a double in 12 games.
