The Twins deployed four pitchers versus the Pirates, including Randy Dobnak, fresh off signing his five-year $9.25 million contract extension with the club.
Dobnak kept clean in two innings of work, striking out one, not allowing a hit.
Luke Farrell and Hansel Robles also combined to pitch a pair of scoreless innings, collecting four Ks in total.
Minnesota wasn’t nearly as successful at the plate, tallying just one hit courtesy of leadoff batter Luis Arraez.
The Twins’ draw capped the end of spring training. The club will now turn its attention to opening day and its road showdown versus the Milwaukee Brewers set for Thursday at 1:10 p.m. The game will be televised on Bally Sports North, the same channel and new name of the FOX Sports North network.
