7:19 am: INEC’s Returning Officer in the election, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, declares PDP’s Ademola Adeleke as winner and governor-elect of Osun State.
“I declare that Adeleke Ademola Jackson Nurudeen of PDP, having satisfied the requirements of the law is hereby declared the winner and he is returned elected,” Professor Ogundipe declared.

4:58 pm: These photos by Channels TV’s Sodiq Adelakun capture the sorting and counting of votes at a polling unit in Osogbo.
3:50 pm: The EFCC has arrested at least three suspects over allegations of vote-buying in the election.
It said the suspects who were captured allegedly trading votes for cash were apprehended through actionable intelligence and digital means.
Some of the suspects were arrested around Ward 2 Unit 2, Ifelodun Street at Isale-Osun in Osogbo.

Voting has since ended at Ward 2 Unit 7 and the ballots are being counted.
