Upset win over Iowa propels Gophers into AP top-25 poll
After defeating fourth-ranked Iowa 102-95 in overtime Friday, the Minnesota Gophers (8-1, 1-1) moved into the AP top-25 poll at No. 21.

It’s the first time the Gophers have cracked the top 25 since the 2017-18 season.
There are now nine Big Ten teams in the AP top-25 poll — No. 6 Wisconsin, No. 10 Iowa, No. 14 Rutgers, No. 15 Illinois, No. 16 Michigan, No. 17 Michigan State, No. 19 Northwestern, No. 21 Minnesota and No. 25 Ohio State.
The Gophers return to the court Monday to battle Michigan State (6-2, 0-2).
