Minnesota now has seven cornerbacks on its roster — Kris Boyd, Cameron Dantzler, Jeff Gladney, Harrison Hand, Mike Hughes, Dylan Mabin and Peterson. Peterson is the only player in that group to be over the age of 24.
Peterson is a candidate to start at cornerback or even spend time at safety opposite Harrison Smith in 2021.
