Vikings place CB Cameron Dantzler on COVID-19/reserve list
The Minnesota Vikings will be without rookie cornerback Cameron Dantzler against Green Bay on Sunday.
Minnesota placed Dantzler on the COVID-19/reserve list Wednesday, a category created for players who either test positive for the coronavirus or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person.
More Vikings coverage
Dantzler, a 2020 third-round pick (No. 89 overall) by Minnesota, has played in four contests – all starts – and has logged 24 tackles and two tackles for loss. Dantzler missed two games due to a rib injury.
Elsewhere, the Vikings’ secondary is hampered with injuries. Cornerbacks Holton Hill and Mike Hughes did not practice Wednesday, and Kris Boyd was a limited participant.
The second meeting of 2020 between the Packers and Vikings kicks off on Sunday at noon.
