Iloka had been elevated from the practice squad each of the last two weeks. If Minnesota were to elevate him again, Iloka would have to pass through waivers before being placed back on the practice squad.

In his first game with the Vikings this season, in Week 3 against Tennessee, Iloka played just six special teams snaps and recorded one tackle. Last Sunday, however, with strong safety Harrison Smith getting ejected in the game vs. Houston, Iloka played 43 snaps on defense (66%) and none on special teams, posting five tackles with one tackle for loss.

Iloka played in 16 games for the Vikings in 2018, after six seasons in Cincinnati, playing all 16 games that year and finishing with 16 tackles. He sat out the 2019 season after being waived by Dallas. Minnesota signed him to the practice squad Sept. 17.

Yarbrough was inactive the past three games after playing 22 defensive snaps in the opener against Green Bay.

The 1-3 Vikings play Sunday night in Seattle against the 4-0 Seahawks.
