Wild trade Ryan Donato to San Jose for 2021 third-round pick
The Minnesota Wild has traded forward Ryan Donato to the San Jose Sharks for a third-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft.

Donato, 24, played 62 games for the Wild last season and tallied 23 points with 14 goals and nine assists. He has 57 career points in 130 NHL contests with Minnesota and the Boston Bruins.
Minnesota has six selections in the 2020 NHL Draft, which starts virtually on Tuesday, Oct. 6. The Wild will get its first shot to draft with the ninth overall pick.
