Youth shines in Timberwolves’ 129-127 preseason OT win over Dallas
The Minnesota Timberwolves future was on display Thursday night.
Jarrett Culver scored 18 points, top draft pick Anthony Edwards added 17 and the Timberwolves defeated Dallas 129-127 in overtime to wrap up their three-game preseason schedule.

Karl-Anthony Towns led the Timberwolves with 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting. Malik Beasley posted a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds in 24 minutes.
Edwards nailed 3 of 8 attempts from downtown and also picked up three rebounds and three assists.
Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 20 points, seven assists and five rebounds on 6-of-18 shooting.
Tyrell Terry, who attended DeLaSalle High School in Minneapolis, Minn., and was the 31st overall pick by the Mavericks in 2020, scored two points in 10 minutes on the floor.
Minnesota begins its 2020-21 campaign Wednesday at 7 p.m. against the Detroit Pistons. The game will be televised on FOX Sports North.
